Ai Opinion

AI Rating(4.5/5)

Users praise Umbraco for its easy setup, high customizability, user-friendly backoffice, strong media management, and supportive community, making it ideal for developers and client projects. Some dislike the UI-based document type creation, which limits a true code-first experience and adds extra work, though it becomes manageable with adjustments.

Expert Opinion

Expert Rating(4.3/5)

I have used Umbraco extensively as a content management system, and overall it has been a very solid experience. Umbraco really shines in its flexibility and developer-friendly architecture. Unlike rigid CMS platforms, it gives full control over content structure, templates, and integrations. I found it especially powerful when building custom websites that need clean code and scalability.

The backoffice interface is clean and intuitive once you get familiar with it, making content editing easy for non-technical users. Performance is strong, and the built-in API support makes integrations smooth. The community and documentation are also very helpful.

The main downside is the learning curve for beginners and reliance on .NET knowledge. Still, for professional projects, Umbraco is a reliable and flexible CMS.
