White Ops announced Sandeep Swadia as its new CEO. Swadia brings over 20 years of experience in building and scaling world-class software companies. In his new role at White Ops, Swadia will focus on building White Ops’ business, go-to-market strategy, and execution.

Michael Tiffany, White Ops’ co-founder, will transition to the role of President, where he will double down on driving rapid product innovation and evangelising the company’s vision and culture.

“As White Ops continued to hit certain revenue milestones, I felt strongly that the requirements for the CEO role changed significantly,” said Michael Tiffany, President and Co-founder of White Ops.

“It was important to me, our executive team and the board that we bring in a seasoned leader who can partner with me, exemplify our unique culture and steer and scale our business. Sandeep fits that mold beautifully.”

According to Tamer Hassan, CTO and Co-founder, White Ops, the company’s leapfrog technology innovations have helped it grow and see significant traction in the market.

“We are very excited to combine Michael’s deep technical knowledge and evangelism for White Ops with Sandeep’s strategic and operational chops in scaling growth-stage businesses.”

“International ad fraudsters are demonstrating increasing technical capability for their crimes, putting users at risk,” said Dan Kaminsky, a well-known security researcher as well as Chief Scientist and Co-founder of White Ops.

“We are excited to have Sandeep leading us for this challenge to protect the Internet.”

Swadia has had a track record of being in leadership roles at successful technology companies, three of which created $1B+ in value each. He joins White Ops at a time when the company is experiencing strong momentum, and growing revenue greater than 100 per cent for the third consecutive year – while on pace to at least double in 2017. The company also just released the industry’s most cited study on ad fraud, Bot Baseline, for the third year.

“I believe White Ops has the potential to become one of the most important companies of our time,” said Swadia, CEO of White Ops.

“What sends me tap dancing to work every morning is our inspiring mission to defend the Internet and the awesome passion of our team. We are humbled to serve industry leaders as they focus on making the online advertising more transparent and accountable. I look forward to serving the team and serving our customers.”
