Ticketing, live entertainment and data analytics company TEG has appointed Mazen Kassis as Managing Director of Data, Digital and Technology.

Kassis joins the TEG senior leadership team and will have management oversight for TEG Analytics, TEG Rewards, TEG Digital and Softix.

For more than 10 years Kassis has worked in research and analytics capacities in Australia, Asia, Africa and Europe. He joins TEG from the Dentsu Aegis company Data2Decisions where he was Marketing Analytics Director, helping clients grow their businesses through data-driven marketing.

According to TEG CEO Geoff Jones, the newly-created position would drive integration and commercial focus across TEG’s market-leading businesses in data analytics, market research, loyalty programs, digital marketing and ticketing technology platforms.

He said the company specialises in data, digital and technology and is focused on a strategy for growth in this area.

“TEG is unique in providing large-scale data science, insights, research and digital marketing and Mazen is has the right mix of skills and energy to bring it all together,” Jones said.

The company includes TEG Live, Ticketek, TEG Dainty, TEG Analytics, TEG Rewards, Softix, Qudos Bank Arena, Eventopia, Life Like Touring, The Entertainment Store, The Brickman Experience and TicketCharge Malaysia.

Kassis said he is thrilled to be appointed to the new position.

He said TEG has a strong story to tell due to the quality and richness of the company’s assets, and that personalised and customisation are strong aspects of the offering.
