Former Oracle and Marketo exec Will Griffith has joined data management company Tealium as the Vice President and General Manager of Asia Pacific Japan (APJ).

Most recently Griffith served as the Managing Director of Australia and New Zealand at Marketo, which was acquired by Adobe. Before that, he was Head of Sales and Go-to-Market Strategy for APAC for Oracle Marketing Cloud.

Will Griffith,

“Tealium is thrilled to welcome Will on board as we further strengthen our position in the APJ region as a leader in the customer data platform space. Will is an amazing addition to our executive team,” said Jeff Lunsford, CEO, Tealium.

“With his extensive skill set, dedication, and proven track record, we are confident he will help us expand our market position in a high growth region.”

Griffiths has vast experience in the marketing technology industry and, in 2012, set up the first APJ office for marketing automation vendor, Eloqua (later acquired by Oracle), where he was instrumental in expanding the offering across ANZ, India, ASEAN, China, and Korea.

“Data volumes continue to grow exponentially, while customer expectations are simultaneously pushing brands to work harder and smarter with their data.  Tealium helps companies increase customer engagement and conversions by providing unification of customer data in real time,” Griffith said.

He added, “Tealium is at the forefront of innovation, helping businesses across the APJ region harness the value of their customer data, and this was key to my decision to join the team. I am looking forward to helping continue to grow Tealium’s business, and position its leading Customer Data Platform across the region, in turn helping customers be the best in utilising  real-time data and delivering excellence in customer engagement.”
