Pegasystems has appointed Michael Evans as vice president for Australia and New Zealand. The company said this newly created role reflects its growth and investment in the market.
According to Pegasystems its headcount locally has more than doubled in the last four years.
Evans will concentrate on people and culture to drive growth across the market. This includes prioritising further investments to both attract and retain talent, which will in turn enable Pega to focus on client needs and business outcomes.
He joins Pega after working at managing director for APJ at Dell Boomi. Before that he was sales director at enterprise software provider Software AG.
Evans said, “Pega has proven technology that resonates with the market, and I’m excited to join the company to help accelerate this success and our clients’ digital transformation journeys.
“I’m looking forward to working with such a highly motivated team and in a culture centred around making our clients as successful as possible.”
Luke McCormack, vice president and managing director for APAC, Pegasystems said, “Michael joins us with the right experience, having led many high-performance enterprise sales teams to success.
“Pega is a great place to work, and I know that Michael will have all the resources he needs to succeed and continue the momentum we’ve been driving in the market.”
