New research from the IMD Business school suggests organisations should focus on the disruption, not the disrupter because there is little evidence to link the hype of disruption in some industries with reality.

Co-written by Michael Wade, Didier Bonnet and Jialu Shan at the IMD Business School, Lausanne, Switzerland, the study analyses a seven-year period from 2012 to 2018 across 12 industries and is complemented by a survey of 2000 business executives.

Co-author Didier Bonnet joins Which-50 editor-in-chief Andrew Birmingham for this week’s Which-50 Minicast to explain the findings and offer some advice.

Which-50’s Minicast publishes each Tuesday. Follow Which-50 on LinkedIn to be the first to view it.
