Danielle Uskovic has been appointed the Marketing Director of LinkedIn Sales and Marketing Solutions APAC. Based in Singapore, Uskovic will begin her new role on June 4th.
“I’m really excited to be starting my new journey with LinkedIn. I’ve been a passionate advocate of LinkedIn for a long time. I’ve seen first hand how it transformed Lenovo’s business and now I get to scale that across APAC for all organisations,” Uskovic told Which-50 this morning.
Prior to LinkedIn, she was the Head of Digital & Social at Lenovo Asia Pacific and is well known within the digital marketing industry as a thought leader and advocate for programmatic advertising.
Uskovic finished up at Lenovo in April after more than a decade with the technology company. Joining in 2007, she held various roles such as environment manager, social media and digital marketing manager for Lenovo Australia and New Zealand before being promoted to an Asia Pacific leadership role in January 2016.
During her time at the PC giant, she was responsible for bringing programmatic trading in-house in 2015. Speaking to Which-50 between sessions at last year’s Adobe Symposium, Uskovic said the decision to bring programmatic in-house was more about control and transparency than cost, but they as a result of the changes the team also reduced CPM and the overall administrative costs.
Uskovic is also an advisory board member of Which-50 Media, publisher of Which-50.com.
