Alibaba Cloud has launched its China Gateway Program in Australia aiming to help companies of all sizes enter the Chinese market grow their online and offline presence in the country.

The Chinese giant said by leveraging the proven cloud technologies and the established Alibaba ecosystem encompassing ecommerce, online payment, logistics and digital marketing, Australian companies in the program will be well-positioned to allocate resources freely in China like native players.

Under China Gateway, companies can use Alibaba Cloud’s cross border products and solutions to connect their local operational software such as CRM, ERP or MES in China.

This offers management complete visibility during sales, marketing and supply chain management process, the company said. 

With data centres in both Australia and China, Alibaba Cloud said it also provides fast internet speeds and bandwidths for Australian companies to serve Chinese consumers.

The solutions that are available under the China Gateway Program have already been proven as a success to Australian business owners in serving clients in China, demonstrating its real potential.

Under the China Gateway Program, Alibaba Cloud has also published the China Gateway white paper to help companies understand China from important business aspects such as its economic history, market opportunities and local compliance rules.

The China Gateway Program was launched at Alibaba Cloud’s China Gateway Summit held in Sydney earlier this week. The Melbourne session of the China Gateway Summit will be held tomorrow March 21.
