Adobe has appointed new sales directors in the Australia New Zealand region. Scott Dawes is now the ANZ Enterprise Sales Director and Steve O’Connell has joined Adobe as ANZ Government Sales Director.

Dawes is an experienced Information Technology Sales Executive with a strong track record of developing partnerships and solutions for Enterprise Customers and enhancing top line revenue and margin results of software divisions for multinational organisations, Adobe said. Based in Melbourne, Dawes will report to Australia and New Zealand Managing Director, Suzanne Steele.

Dawes joins Adobe from SAP where he was FSI Executive General Manager for Australia and New Zealand. Prior to SAP, Dawes worked at Oracle for more than 20 years, where he was responsible for overall go-to-market strategy, sales and operations.

O’Connell has joinedAdobe as ANZ Government Sales Director. He has more than 25 years’ experience as an IT Executive working with Federal Government clients and has been responsible for initiating and closing complex, multi-million dollar software sales to major Government agencies, according to an Adobe statement. Based in Canberra, O’Connell will also report to Suzanne Steele. Prior to his new role, O’Connell was General Manager of Federal Sales for Australia and New Zealand at Fujitsu for the last seven years. Prior to Fujitsu, Steve worked at BMC, HP Software, and Computer Associates.
