During Shoptalk in Las Vegas last week, Israeli-company Adgorithms presented its case study with Italian lingerie brand Cosabella which decided to ditch its agency and bring digital in-house with assistance from AI marketing platform Albert.

Albert is an artificial intelligence marketing platform designed to become a member of a brand’s marketing team by wading through data, delivering insights and autonomously acting on those insights across channels and devices.

According to the official spiel, “Frustrated by the inability of traditional agencies to expand its audience and continuously deliver better results, Italian lingerie brand Cosabella decided it needed a new approach to digital marketing.”

“The company enlisted Albert to handle its paid digital media activities in order to increase sales and drive revenue, freeing Cosabella’s marketing team up to focus on higher value problem solving.”

Cosabella moved its digital efforts in-house and deployed Albert to handle campaigns across all digital all digital channels.

After processing some high-level KPIs, parameters, and creatives, Albert identified user behaviours and patterns, then analysed those behaviours to gain a few valuable insights that could drive the direction of future campaigns.

According to the Italian company, within the first few months of the campaign, the company saw a 33 per cent return on ad spend and a 155 per cent increase in revenue directly attributed to Albert.

“Albert is a truly revolutionary technology,” said Courtney Connell, marketing director at Cosabella. “We immediately saw results upon launch and now trust Albert to make critical campaign decisions. There are other AI companies, but it’s important to distinguish between those that just offer insights and those that actually execute.”

Albert was credited with simplifying Cosabella’s role in executing and optimising paid campaigns by making time consuming, data-based decisions around investments in specific channels and creative more effective, allowing the human marketing team to focus on higher-value tasks.
