Fournaise Group recently ran a worldwide survey of senior executives in which 80 percent of CEOs said they don’t trust their CMO. The problem is that marketing is regarded as unaligned on key business metrics.
Compare that to the relationship the CEO has with the CFO. In that instance, 90 percent say they trust the company’s finance leaders.
